Crushed is a home for cannabis culture — the people, the plant, the craft, the news. Cannabis is still illegal federally and tightly regulated in every state, so we hold everything posted here to a clear set of rules. They apply to every page, post, video, live stream, comment and message on Crushed, and they’re part of our Terms of Service.
1. No sales, no deals, no offers to sell
Crushed is not a marketplace. Don’t use it to buy or sell cannabis or any controlled substance.
- No offers to sell, trade, gift, ship or deliver cannabis, seeds, clones, or cannabis products.
- No “DM me,” “hit my line,” phone numbers, or links set up to arrange a sale.
- No prices, discounts, promo codes, giveaways or price deals for cannabis products in your own content. (Licensed dispensary menus and deals that Crushed shows from data partners are informational and come from licensed retailers.)
- Talking about products, strains, brands and your experience with them is fine — selling them is not.
2. 21+ only — nothing with or for anyone under 21
- No one under 21 may appear in content that shows or discusses cannabis.
- No content designed to appeal to minors: cartoon characters, toy- or candy-style packaging, or imagery aimed at kids or teens.
- Never encourage anyone under 21 to use cannabis, and never target them with your content.
- Anything sexualizing a minor is banned outright and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
3. Follow the law where you are
- Follow your state’s cannabis laws, including advertising and marketing rules. If you’re a licensed business, your license conditions apply to what you post.
- No content showing or encouraging illegal activity — unlicensed grows or sales, transporting cannabis across state lines, or use where it’s prohibited.
- No driving, operating machinery, or doing anything dangerous while impaired.
- Consumption on camera is allowed where it’s legal for you, but keep it responsible and never glamorize overconsumption.
4. No medical claims
Don’t claim cannabis or any product cures, treats, or prevents a disease or condition, or that it’s a substitute for medical care. Sharing your own experience is fine when you make clear it’s personal and not medical advice. Point people to a licensed healthcare provider.
5. Respect people
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or encouraging others to pile on.
- No hate speech or attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious illness.
- No doxxing: don’t share someone’s private information (home address, phone, private photos) without consent.
- No impersonation of people, brands or dispensaries, and no misleading claims about who you are.
6. Sexual content
- No pornography or sexually explicit content, and no nudity focused on sexual parts.
- No sexual content involving anyone under 18 — ever. We report it to NCMEC and law enforcement.
- No non-consensual intimate imagery, and no sexual solicitation.
7. Copyright and others’ work
Only post what you made or have permission to use — including music in videos and live streams. Credit people properly. If you believe your work is on Crushed without permission, use our DMCA process.
8. Keep it real and keep it safe
- No spam, scams, fake engagement, or misleading links.
- No malware, phishing, or attempts to get around our age gate or safety systems.
- No graphic violence, self-harm promotion, or dangerous challenges.
- Disclose paid partnerships and sponsorships clearly.
Enforcement
If something breaks these rules we may remove it, hide it, limit a page, end a live stream, or suspend or close an account — usually starting with a warning, but immediately for serious violations (sales, minors, sexual content involving minors, threats, illegal activity). We may report illegal content to the authorities. If you think we got a decision wrong, email [CONTACT EMAIL] and we’ll take another look.
Reporting
See something that breaks these rules? Use the Report link on the page, or email [CONTACT EMAIL] with a link and what’s wrong. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
