Wiz Khalifa put his own weed and a hazy IPA brewer behind a new THC seltzer

Wiz Khalifa's cannabis brand Khalifa Kush launched Kush & Orange Juice on August 25, a hemp-derived THC beverage made with Atlanta's Scofflaw Brewing Company. Each 12-ounce can comes in 5mg or 10mg THC options, sold online at drinkkhalifa.com in select states, with citrus and tropical flavors already planned to follow.

The name nods to Khalifa's 2010 mixtape "Kush & Orange Juice," and Khalifa framed the drink as a companion product rather than a replacement for flower: "it's been teed up to have the smoke and a drink to go with it," he said, describing the beverage as part of the same brand family as Khalifa Kush flower and pre-rolls.

Scofflaw partner Brent Albin called the launch the product of "years of collaboration," positioning it as a deliberate brand extension rather than a licensing cash-grab — a distinction that matters in a THC beverage category that's gotten crowded with celebrity names attached to contract-manufactured drinks nobody involved actually helped design.

For a hemp-derived product, distribution runs through the same state-by-state patchwork every THC beverage brand is navigating right now — availability varies by state and stays subject to whatever each legislature decides about hemp-derived cannabinoids next. Worth watching whether Khalifa Kush pushes into retail shelf space or stays a direct-to-consumer play.
