Burkle

Burkle is generally credited to Pre-98 Bubba Kush crossed with Granddaddy Purple, though some say Purple Urkle is the second parent. That uncertainty shows in our record, which lists Afghani, Big Bud, Granddaddy Purple, Purple Urkle and Pre 98 Bubba Kush. A hybrid in our data, it carries 21.91% THC and 0.242% CBD.

Beta-caryophyllene leads at 0.249%, ahead of limonene at 0.193% and linalool at 0.144%. The flavor tags read sweet and earthy, and outside tasters describe spiced licorice and a peppermint finish. The effect list is hungry, tingly, sleepy and calm; dry eyes and headache are the listed downsides.

One outside source reports a third-place finish for Best Indica Flower at the 2016 Colorado Cannabis Cup, which we could not confirm elsewhere. Growers cite roughly 60 days of flowering. Reviewers rate sleepy and relaxed far above everything else, so this is an evening strain, not a work-day one.

The headache tag is worth keeping in mind if you tend to be sensitive, and water helps with the dry eyes and mouth.
