Shipwreck

Shipwreck takes its spear-shaped growth and pine-citrus snap from Trainwreck, its most commonly cited parent. The other half is less certain; sources suggest a brightening partner such as a Haze-leaning cut or Mothership. Our ancestry field lists Afghani, Mexican Sativa, Thai and Trainwreck.

Reports trace it to the Pacific Northwest and Northern California in the early-to-mid 2000s. Our record has it as a sativa at 12% THC, a single reading and low by today's standards, with no CBD; sources describe 15–25% as typical. Terpenes on file are limonene, myrcene and pinene without percentages, though other accounts put terpinolene in front.

Flavor tags are fruity, sweet, earthy and piney. Effects listed are tingly, creative, talkative, focused, calm and happy, with dry mouth the lone side effect. It suits a daytime walk, a brainstorm or a long conversation, and the low reading makes it an easier introduction to sativas than many on the shelf.
