About Vanilla Kush

Barney's Farm bred Vanilla Kush from Afghan and Kashmir lines, and it reportedly took second place overall at a 2009 High Times Cannabis Cup. Sources call it an indica. Our record lists it as a hybrid at 15% THC, a single reading, so the type label differs from the sources.

Terpenes come in as beta myrcene 0.48%, alpha humulene 0.25%, alpha pinene 0.21% and beta caryophyllene 0.17%. Flavor tags read sour and sweet, but the strain is better known for vanilla, lavender and honey notes with a hint of citrus. Our effect tags are happy, sleepy and calm, with dry eyes and dry mouth as side effects, and outside reviewers also report tingly.

Plants finish in about eight weeks with big, soft, light-green flowers touched by orange. Our parents field lists only Afghani, so the Kashmir half comes from the breeder's account. It makes a good wind-down option for a quiet evening.

Myrcene leads the panel, which fits the sleepy tag, so avoid it before anything that needs focus.
