Sour Amnesia
About Sour Amnesia
HortiLab Seeds bred Sour Amnesia from Sour Diesel and Amnesia, and it reportedly placed second in a 2012 cup. The contest was the Sativa Cup at the High Times Cannabis Cup. Our record lists 16% THC, a figure well below what outside sources suggest, so it may reflect a single lighter sample.
The terpene panel is led by terpinolene at 0.71%, with caryophyllene at 0.49%, ocimene at 0.33% and myrcene at 0.3%. Terpinolene-dominant strains tend to smell bright and herbal, which fits the sour, sweet and earthy flavor tags and the floral, citrus-diesel impressions in outside descriptions. Effect tags are creative, energetic, focused, calm and happy, a useful combination for people who want clear-headed motivation.
Dry eyes and dry mouth are the side effects listed. Our parents field also names Jack Herer, Northern Lights, Cinderella 99, Skunk #1 and Chemdawg, so lineage records disagree and the breeder’s account is the safer one to repeat. Start low with sativa-leaning strains if you are prone to racing thoughts.
