Sunshine
About Sunshine
Sunshine is a name several breeders have used, so it describes a family of cultivars more than one fixed plant. It is generally treated as sativa-leaning, with Chem, Skunk or Appalachia influences mentioned, and it should not be confused with Sunshine Daydream or Sunshine #4. Crushed lists it as a sativa with a single THC reading of 24%.
Myrcene leads at 0.52%, with limonene at 0.46%, caryophyllene at 0.38%, pinene at 0.18% and humulene at 0.16%. Flavor tags are sweet and citrus, and the effect list is long and mostly bright: creative, energetic, euphoric, focused, giggly, talkative and uplifted, with relaxed and hungry also tagged. It became popular during the West Coast craft wave, when citrus-dominant profiles sold well.
Use it as a morning-through-afternoon strain. Because the name is shared, confirm the breeder and read the batch's lab report instead of assuming it matches another jar. A 24% reading is high for a sativa-leaning flower, so a conservative first dose is wise.
