White Russian

White Russian crosses White Widow with AK-47, and the original was bred by Serious Seeds. Sources say it took a Best Overall placing at the 1996 Cannabis Cup. Our record lists a hybrid at 16% THC and 1% CBD, a single reading, against about 21% outside.

The terpene panel is myrcene 0.65%, caryophyllene 0.25%, pinene 0.20%, limonene 0.10%, humulene 0.09%, ocimene 0.07%, linalool 0.05% and terpinolene 0.05%. Flavor tags show only earthy, but outside tasters describe rose, tobacco and a fruity, sweet, skunky aroma. Effect tags are creative, energetic, focused and calm, with dry eyes, dizzy, nervous and dry mouth as side effects.

Reviewers elsewhere say euphoric, uplifted and happy. Our parents field lists AK-47, Afghani, Thai and White Widow, a little wider than the main cross. It is described as a sativa-leaning hybrid with a stimulating head and a relaxed body, once considered the strongest strain around.

Four side-effect tags are plenty, so newcomers should proceed with a small amount and avoid it late at night.
