Blue Goo

Blue Goo grew out of Northern California in the late 2000s and early 2010s, most often described as Blue Dream crossed with Afgoo. Our record lists Afghani, Afgoo, Blueberry, Blue Dream and Haze as parents. Though it is tagged an indica here, the pairing was meant to blend Blue Dream's berry-forward, uplifting side with Afgoo's resin and heavier feel.

THC is 22% from a single reading. Beta-myrcene leads at 0.78%, with pinene at 0.46%, caryophyllene at 0.25%, limonene at 0.19% and humulene at 0.10%. The only flavor tag is fruity.

Effects include happy, energetic and calm, with dry eyes and dry mouth listed as side effects. Mixed tags like energetic and calm are consistent with a hybrid cross that doesn't push hard in either direction. Pinene is a notable second terpene and tends to give a sharper, piney edge to sweet berry.

It may work for a relaxed afternoon, with some energy for a hobby. As with most myrcene-forward strains, take it easy at first and keep water close.
